Step 1:
Can you read English and speak it clearly?
Can you smile with an adult from another culture?

Step 2:
Contact us to learn how to make a difference by encouraging adult refugee students as they learn to speak English using computer programs such as Rosetta Stone.

Step 3:
Volunteer for a 1 hour, 45 minute class per week and transform a student’s life and your own as you get to know and enrich each other!

Also during class, one of our Abounding Service leaders will initiate group conversation, teach a short lesson with vocabulary in a biblical context, and ask questions from the U.S. citizenship test.

Arizona taxes sure aren’t a joy to pay.

But it’s a real joy to help refugees connect and contribute!

Problem solved! Did you know Arizona law allows YOU to choose where your tax dollars go to help those in need in our state?

Thanks to the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, you can donate up to $800 and get it right back on your Arizona tax return.

Increase your refund or reduce the amount you owe by the same amount you donated to Abounding Service, up to $800 for couples filing jointly or $400 for singles.

Follow these three simple steps:

1. Donate (up to $800 for couples filing jointly or $400 for singles) to Abounding Service on or before May 17, 2021. (Same day tax returns are due)

2. Use your electronic or paper receipt as proof of donation when filing your 2020 Arizona state taxes.

3. Claim the Arizona state tax credit when you file — and increase your refund or reduce what you owe by the exact amount you donated. (Use AZ Form 321. Our QCO code is 21983.)

You can claim a dollar-for-dollar credit against your Arizona tax liability, up to $800 if married filing jointly and $400 if single filing.

Any excess credit can be carried forward for 5 years.

The deadline has been extended to May 17.

Yes! There are four tax credit programs in Arizona, and you are allowed to claim as many as you’d like.

Simply report as QCO Code 21983 on AZ Form 321 and submit with your AZ return. We will send your receipt to you for your files.
