At District Court this morning, we honored those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces, we said the Pledge of Allegiance, we sang the National Anthem.
And from 24 countries, 66 men and women swore the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America.
They swore their loyalty to us.
Before the citizenship ceremony, an officer exuberantly gave the candidates this admonition, “When you say your Oath, say it loud. Say it proud!” They certainly did!
Noor (pictured below) is from Iraq and is one of our exemplary students at Abounding Service.
This morning, after years of determination and diligence, Noor swore the Oath and became a U.S. citizen.
Today, we all have reason to be proud.
I’m proud to belong with you together on Noor’s team!
